The Wushu Manitoba Training Centre was developed in October 2002 and now
combined with the Yau Kung Moon Kung Fu Institute of Canada under
Grandmaster Richard Van since February 2006, is an organization dedicated in
introducing and promoting the sport of Wushu, Sanshou, Dragon Acrobatics,
Lion(freestyle & pole) Acrobatics and traditional Yau Kung Moon Kung Fu. The
training centre promotes good health, wellness, athleticism, discipline and
culture for all our students and affiliates. The centre provides friendly
and knowledgeable coaching in a recreational and competitive environment.
Headed by Sifu Ranie Laoag RN and Sifu Ryan Sayco with affiliations with
international and national wushu coaches, the
Wushu Manitoba Training Centre/Yau Kung Moon Kung Fu Institute of Canada has
performed and competed in many
local and international events.

Our goal is to promote martial arts, dragon & lion acrobatics at the most
respectful and highest standards in all of Manitoba.

YKM Flying Lion Dance Troupe

The YKM Flying Lion Dance Troupe was developed in November of 2006, with affiliations to the Yau Kung Moon Kung Fu Institute of Canada.  Established by six members varying in ages, their passion and commitment of Chinese Dragon & Lion Acrobatics has spawned a new generation of elite athletes who strive to develop the highest levels of performance, training, Chinese tradition and knowledge for the community and their students.
With great support from Sifu Ranie Laoag and Sifu Ryan Sayco, the YKM Flying Lion Dance Troupe curriculum promotes strength, athleticism, discipline and techniques in both traditional and modern styles of Dragon & Lion acrobatics. 
To understand the name “Flying Lion” is best described by simply seeing them in action.
