Dragon and Lion Dance International of Canada
Dragon and Lion Dance International of Canada was formed to preserve, cultivate, and promote the art and tradition of dragon and lion dance. We are located in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. DALDIC is a community based voluntary and non-profit organization. In hosting the Lion Dance Festival, we are investing in the legacy of dragon and lion dance, contributing to the enrichment of Canada's multicultural mosaic, and making Winnipeg a tourism destination.
Mission Statement
- To promote Dragon & Lion Dance as an integral part of Canadian culture.
- To promote Winnipeg as a centre of major international events
- To promote cultural exchange among Canadian ethnocultural communities and between Canada and the world.
- To contribute to the enrichment of Canada's multicultural mosaic.
